During our second Equine Facilitated Learning visit the children listened to the story of Rosie’s walk and then recreated the journey over an agility course. Solo the pony was Rosie and Rachel was the fox. The children had to help Solo by giving the correct commands to go left, right, round, over and through the obstacles. They also learnt how to hold the leading rope, the commands for walk on and how to make Solo stop. The session finished with the children learning about more parts of the horses body. Another fantastic session and we can’t wait for the next one.
